Great tutorial. Thanks for sharing. I really like this design with the tile/tila beads. All sorts of possibilities of mixing colors. If the spaces between the beads along the loop bugs anyone, 15 ott beads could be used next to the inside of the loop. They could even be a different color to add yet another design detail.

If you use bugle beads, I highly recommend using an 11/0 at each end to protect your thread, since bugle beads are cut to size and can have raw edges.

Yes, it's better if it's 1.5mm or thicker for stability.
