I am an amateur leathercraftsman, and have begun a bushcraft utility belt. And I finished my multitool pouch before watching this. You make it look so easy to make it so clean and symmetrical. I hope I can get to a level like this.

Not only a helpful video, but soothing to watch as well. I'm a new leatherworker and I was glad to learn some new little habits just from watching you. Somehow I appreciate the silence as well: Some instructors are too chatty on KZbin ;) You've got yourself a new subscriber.

Beautiful work mate! This deserves more views. I'm pretty new to leatherwork and looking at doing my third project, This design will prove very useful as inspiration! I think I'm going to mount the sheath horizontally tho instead of vertically, I kinda feel that way the tool is more accessible Thanks again!.

Thanks Billy I appreciate it! When you finish it send me a photo on my instagram or facebook page, id love to see it mate. Good luck!

Enjoyable, well done video and beautiful craftsmanship. Did you seal the dye in? Curious what product you used
@FosterandBoys4 жыл бұрын
Thankyou! I sure did, with a mixture of 50:50 mix of water and resolene. I find at 100% the final product is too glossy.. Cheers!

Hi there, yes your videos are very good, good content and well filmed. Maybe a little more verbal instruction would be good. I'm sure us newbies would be hanging on your every word! I thought your stitching looked good and I wonder if you could tell me which needles you use for this type of work and maybe even what kind of thread.Looking foward to more of your vids..Cheers, from Mike, Sth Waikato, NZ..
@FosterandBoys4 жыл бұрын
Hi Mike!! thanks for watching! i hope to get some more videos made when i find some time! i used harness needles in this vid, and waxed polyester thread as its less prone to rotting over time... all the best mate

Where can you buy it?
@FosterandBoys4 жыл бұрын
This ones already sold.. but if you want to take a look my website is www.fosterandboys.com
If this gets remotely damp it will rub dye off onto the clothes/belt of whoever is wearing it, you never sealed the dye
@FosterandBoys Жыл бұрын
Sealed with resolene but thanks, the owner has worn it for years with no problem

@FosterandBoys I thought it was cool that you did the video without talking but you still made everything self evident. I'm going to take a run at this project today. Thanks
@darylhaines7397Ай бұрын
Makes a great change from inane chatter on many videos. I actually appreciated the lack of chatter. Perhaps an absolute beginner would need some explanation. But anyone who has done some leathercraft would be able to see what you are doing and improve their skills. I saw a couple of things I'm going to try on my next project. ❤
