I have a Surge with bits in my car, a Super Tool 300 in my motorcycle saddle, and they really came in handy when I needed them. I helped one fellow motorcycle rider when he broke down, and he was impressed that I had “tools“ with me 😂

Hello ...... nice video. I have the aqua blue coloured Signal and it is easily my favourite Leathefman to date to wear regularly. It's a perfect carry weight and feels great in the hands. It looks great and is well engineered. This is my fourth Leatherman (original patent pending supertool, first gen supertool 300, first gen wave, and signal). The original supertool is also a nice weight for everyday carry and has a bit more to offer than the signal with the drawback being a rather sharp edged frame and small tool extraction slots. Perhaps I should look at the rebar as a replacement instead.

You can also use 1/4” hex bits with that hole in the hammer. I think the signal is a really cool knife. I’m not too fussed about scissors. I have a Leatherman Style CS mini multitool with scissors that are way better than any flimsy scissors on most other pocket knives.

I'm looking into the future a bit here but I think you may possibly see some interchangeable tools for the whistle/ferro rod, and sharpener slots at some point. Nice tools for a hiker but these are definitely ones I will never use. I could see a small jewelers screw driver for the sharpener slot and maybe a small file or bit carrying system where the whistle is.

@@The.JZA. Do a search. There is a fellow doing this. Whistle replacement (holds 2 bits) and sharpener replacement (holds 1 bit).

Signal heeft prachtige kleuren collectie. Is de kleur het enige verschil tussen de signals? Of is er ook een verschil in de toolsets?

Voor zover ik weet is er geen verschil dan alleen de verschillende kleuren die leverbaar zijn.
