I think Crookedstar's family were all destined to die. Mapleshade just wanted to make Crookedstar feel guilty and depressed for revenge.

Like i said in the first Crookedtar speedpaint, Mapleshade felt that Crookedjaw was her son. You know when your parents don't want you to get a boyfriend/girlfriend? It's like that. Mapleshade didn't want Willowbreeze to take Crookedjaw away from her, still sad about her kits dying. But, naturally, she had lots of mental damage from being rejected by her lover after her children died, so she took things into her own paws. She tried to get Willowbreeze taken away ( remember, they most likely would have made her into a kittypet, so Mapleshade didn't necessarily want her to die).

It was not Mapleshade's fault Crookedstar's loved ones died, she just wanted him to think it was her fault because, Crookedstar's grandfather was Appledusk and after Thunderclan casted Mapleshade out for breaking the code, her kits died and Appledusk took a Riverclan mate, Reedshine and they had Willownose, who had Willowpelt, I think and Willowpelt gave birth to Shellheart who was Crookedstar's father, she told Crookedstar, he should have never been born

I also have a white crest, underbelly, undertail, paws, and a white muzzle with a strait white stripe up his head with white ears. I also have blue eyes. Im strong, brave, intelligent, tall, handsome, loyal, and excellent hunter & fighter. I have sharp claws, and large teeth. His backstory is that scourge had kits with some random shecat.. and then she had kits.. untill 3 generations later Stormkit (Stormstar), Reedkit (Reedtangle), and Snowkit (Snowfall) were born. Stormstar’s mate is calleds Dreamcatcher a blondecream shecat, with a white crest, underbelly, and paws. She has teal-skyblue eyes. Our kits names are Dandelionkit and Silverkit. Dandelionkit is a dark blonde, with white paws, and underbelly, also with teal-skyblue eyes. Silverkit is a very light grey, with dark grey stripes on her back, with two white forepaws, chsst, underbelly and muzzle, also with teal-skyblue eyes. Like, and tell me what cat you are!

Here’s my opinion on Mapleshade, I feel like she’s not a villain but a mother who has been divan insane after being exiled from her clan, turned away from everyone close to her other than her kits, then they die and she hallucinates seeing them trying to tell her to take revenge. In reality it was ThunderClan’s fault Mapleshade is so evil
