I did this and never realized how great this action was. I have been on the job long and opted for no farewell celebration or announcement. I never wanted anyone to give meaningless speeches or any form of recognition. I'm so happy I did it this way. I never felt compelled to explain why I chose to leave this way. I am an introverted person by nature and I thought I was doing it my way. Thank you for this phenomenal teaching audio.

So weird. I just did this. For Years I said blah, blah and he said blah, blah and the blah, blah did not change on either side. That's it. It never changed.... so, when I saw the opportunity to leave i did. I have not answered or took his calls, or respond to any texts. You're right - unnecessary conflict. It was like leaving the old farm truck stuck in the mud and to decide to quit trying to get it out of the mud and keep it out of the mud. Like leaving the keys in the ignition and walking away with the cab door opened. And.... I feel so much lighter. I hope your message inspire others to 'take the next indicated step.' After the mourning, you will be glad you did. After all, you're only mourning 'what you thought the relationship would be.'
