First of all, travel through the right means. You should travel applying for the appropriate made within 1-2 months with low income jobs. The choice is yours, seeing how the government keep increasing the prices in Ghana without salary increase and you feel Ghana is better then stay there. In America, if you travel through the right means and start working, your quality of life goes up. Imagine paying for electricity and still don’t get light. Imagine this. This is the quality of life I am talking about.

Ghanaian in the US here. Left home at 18, haven't seen family since 2017. Both of you have sound arguments, but ultimately the reality is, if Ghana was that good, we wouldn't be striving to leave. At some point, you lose your identity being away but you have to endure the sacrifice because if your family member gets sick, your country won't save you.

All you need is the right circle of knowledge.

I think it depends on the kind of work you do. One thing I've realized about a lot of our Ghanaian folks who come here is, the moment they arrive, they resort to working menial jobs (doing 4 hours in one store, then 4 hours in another). These jobs are not sustainable. Our fellow Nigerians will attempt to upgrade themselves by getting some level of education and operating personal businesses. Before long, you find them in prominent positions. I work in academia, I have days I choose not to go to campus, but a janitor in the same institution wouldn't have a choice than to be at work daily. Let's Work Smart my people!

You'll never understand the conversation the guy is trying to have until you've experienced it. Scanty is making perfect sense. Culture shock alone is the beginning of depression 😅. Going for 1 week or 1 month holiday doing site seeing is not a representation of the true life. Even if you have a job, you'll work your ass off, make the money and not even know how to properly enjoy it. Ɛhɔ na wo bɛ hu sɛ ne nyinaa yɛ kenken kwa!

The man in question why did he leave ,instead he should have invested the money he used for visa and ticket as he is advising people . Some people just say things on social media without thinking deep if Ghana was well to live in does he think people will migrate 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 hmmm its sad

You think your opinion is the best? don't cast the first stone bro
@MrKaybee10006 ай бұрын
@michaelbennett9428 Yes my opinion is the best because if you have leaders with messed up priorities driving the county in Abyss what else do you expect??? Don’t say what you don’t know. I have lived in Ghana for 25 f**** good years before moving outside. I was able to change my family’s standard of living within a year and I bet if I was I Ghana I wouldn’t have been able to that is that amount of time. The person telling you whatever in that video is living outside telling what to do, let him move to Ghana and see how quick he changes his mind😂😂😂. Some of you people are so Gullible!!!!

@@MrKaybee1000 I’m not saying what I don’t know, heck I’m still here and I know how messed up things are. Your reply would have made more sense if it was the first comment rather than the first one u wrote. My point is, you can’t just go about saying someone has a walnut brain for sharing his opinion.

@michaelbennet I am still gona stand on business and that’s my opinion. It’s an open social media platform if you don’t like my opinion that’s your problem to deal with not mine! Scanty is fond of making pointless arguments. We are taking about living standards and living and having and enabling environment with better conditions, you want to compare that to traveling and not getting Ghanaian food to eat, is that a valid POINT??! Comoon dawg!😂😂 I keep saying social media will always expose how shallow minded some people are!
