A tucked away gem. Chris's harmony vocals are as always perfect. Absolutely love this.

No matter which members are in the band. The music by YES is always music of the top class. I am fan from the beginning.

This cannot be right . The current YES line up is a million times inferrer to the like of Anderson Bruford and Wakeman and Squire

This portion of the epic masterwork, Tales From Topographic Oceans, changed my life forever. As Jon posed, "Does one child know the secret and can say it? Or does it all come out along without you?" I was awakened as if from an inner sleep, arising with "No! Not without me!!" Life and Truth had tapped on my soul's shoulder. And that's just the beginning... I love all your dedication and love you put into bringing visual life to such great music from so many brilliant groups. I know how much time and creative decision-making goes into every frame, every dissolve, every choice of what comes before and after every dissolve is involved. Thank you for what you do and the gift you share freely with us! There are so many great musical works buried beneath the too-small label of "Rock". Another moment of realization for me: While Yes was on their Symphonic Tour I had had the opportunity to hear the LA Philharmonic rehearsing Gates of Delirium just after Yes's soundcheck - just the orchestra, no band. It was there and then that I came to realize that classical/orchestral musical thought is a deeply rooted undercurrent to that particular work and much of Yes's lengthier prog rock pieces. Hearing it performed as a "classical orchestration" was breathtaking. I hope one day, somehow, my music would find its home among the hearts that cherish these kinds of works. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hYS0p6OPl7SgmNU - Abraham

@mvunit38 жыл бұрын
The wonderful Jon Anderson ^_^. Many a song he sings as an angel and words never heard :). But you can sample them on this mortal plane in Yes, Anderson Bruford Wakeman & Howe, Anderson Rabin Wakeman, and Jon's solo albums :).

Two of his collaborative work outside Yes for you - With Mike Oldfield In High Places, with Vangelis - State of Independence. In Yes you might want to check Soon (Oh Soon The Light), Wondrous Stories, And You And I.

to add the the mix of collaborative works Jon has performed.. another with Vangelis that is so emotionally gripping and romantic is "Long Ago So Clear". Jon's voice is not only angelic, but his manner of expression seems to arrive from another world that dreams are made of.

Nice edit! I love how you end it! Just one thing about the description: it is not just Jon singing and Steve playing. There is Rick Wakeman playing too. And a second voice . I personally do not know if it is Steve or Chris but I am sure many other fans can say.

Came in contact with him proposing a "leaves of green" video. But he did all the job mounting the video though I gave him a cut of the song I made by myself which he didn't use as it seems (copyright problems I suppose).
