Thank you for posting this. I have two boys who are 1 and 3. I left my job and often feel that I’ve really lost all my hard work in these past three years, but I reaffirm myself and keep going thinking it’s just a phase. And I love how beautifully you shared that in the beginning. I don’t think it bothers me as much but when working moms ask me it takes me back to that place again. It really is a season and it’s going to change, I will get back to my passions and my goals in time InshAllah. Wishing you the best on your pregnancy, having little kids and seeing them with their new sibling is the best part of motherhood 💕

Humna you talked about embracing motherhood, having kids but you don't talked about couple being affected after becoming parents and how a wife/ girl life is affected more than husband. It's as important as embracing motherhood and men usually don't take and undergo that much of pressure as well, in the end it's the wife/mother that suffers and kids also ask for father, the mother who stayed at home taking care of kids is mostly taken for granted by kids.
