I hope you're enjoying the video!! because there's a bit of background noise at the start, I spent ages writing captions to accompany the video, and I've just realised they haven't exported and uploaded properly :( so my intention was to have captions but hopefully you can still hear me okay! it's just for the first minute :))

Great seeing you back in Australia and with your family. Your dad looks like quite a character and your sister is very much like you. The haircut looks good. Your flight home was such a contrast to last years with what looks like a full flight, no room to stretch out. Not having to quarantine this time is definitely a bonus. Enjoy yourself and catching up with your family and friends.

Welcome home Tia ✈️ it is so beautiful to see you back with you family and seeing you all have so much fun, you have such a beautiful family and always wishing you all the very best, wishing Poppy and Noel all the best with their studies and your Dad is an absolute riot, always love your vlogs and always stay fun ♥️

Long haul flights are normally the big planes which need larger gates. These gates are often the newer ones that were added on to the terminals so thats why they are far. I was on a plane once out at LAX where not only we had to walk far to the gate we were then bus outed to a gate in the middle of the airport

I laughed out lout at that “definitely NOT”, so nice to see the hometown represented on your vlogs. It’s easy to forget how lucky we are here until you see it through this sort of lens. Amazing shots of the footy, hope your American watchers fall a little bit in love with Melbs from watching 😌

Doha airport is so modern! I loved how enthusiastic Poppy’s welcome home was. Would you believe I used to do squash as my school sport? I was never any good 😂 and my mum was always concerned I’d end up getting a ball to the eye and going blind. I’m impressed that you’re learning to like coffee. I’ve never liked it, and people keep telling me I’ll never last as a paramedic if I don’t drink coffee, but I figure I’ve got this far… haha.

Travel Tip for the next time flying. Bring an empty refillable Bottle and just do refills at public waterfountains. Thats what i usually do. Less expensiv. Greetings from Germany

She said they were shut due to covid restrictions
@anitafaulhaber98102 жыл бұрын
@@moglaude ah okay. Some how missed that information. In germany tap water is really good water. We don't have public fountains that often - even though they start to be build more often now. So going to a rest room and fill you bottle up at the sink would have been an option in germany.

Hi Tia, Thanks so much for sharing your amazing flight home from NYC🗽 to Melbourne. 🛩 I flew from Germany to Aistralia directly 🦘🦘🦘 and I thought this was long. You should wear your hair in a pony tail more often. I thinks this suits you very well. Great to see you are spending time with your dad and sister in Melbourne. We have summer here in the Northern hemisphare and I enjoy it very much. 🏝 Take care and have a good time during your summer/winter break. 😊🏖

Wow Tia, love and spending time with family is therapy. It makes my heart full watching you your family have fun and show love for each other. It’s beautiful! 😻. How old is your sister? I’m confused. Is she attending college? Will Noelle stay local or leave the country. It would be interesting if she attended Yale with you, but I know how big that is and she may not want to come this far.
@TiaChitty2 жыл бұрын
what a beautiful comment, thank you so much!! spending time with my family makes me so genuinely happy 🥰 noelle is 2 years younger than me & will be starting uni later this year! she may be leaving the country, but won’t be at yale with me xx

(sorry the questions are phrased horribly ahah)

Wait so in the US you can't like order a taxi? Like call or book one online?
@lilyfromBrissy2 жыл бұрын
I think that a taxi from New Haven directly to JFK is very expensive hence the train trip to reduce costs.
@emmaellerman77712 жыл бұрын
You can in most cities, but in big cities like NYC it’s a little different I think.
@PeterMurphy712 жыл бұрын
You can, by calling or with an app. But it's tricky around train stations / airports etc because they have taxi ramps.

I have really enjoyed watching your Yale journey Tia. I was a bit concerned that you left your little bag on the ground in New Haven and New York, with your passport and money in it, whilst your back was turned speaking to the camera. Please be careful.
