This is the only one of these stories where I've sided with the cheating spouse. The only thing Kate wanted in the entire world was to have Jim's kids and be a stay at home mom, it was all that she cared about. He kept putting her off and putting her off and even made her keep working at a place where she was getting fucking sexually harassed. Matt was able to work normal hours, but Jim was being an obsessive workaholic. Not only did that pour salt in the wound, but she started to think he might be cheating on her. Is it really a big surprise that she would take comfort in another man's arms? To be clear, I usually have zero tolerance for cheating, but this one really bothered me and I spent most of the story wanting to throw a shoe a Jim's thick head.

25 minutes in ....ok, what happened earlier seemed to be him misunderstanding. When he walked in they weren't in each other's arms, there was a guy consoling a sad girl crying and going through tissues on the sofa. There was zero evidence at the time he took action. NOW, 25 minutes in, we find out that there WAS an affair. This should have been set up and justified earlier in the story.
