I (Geri) hear you! It's definitely bittersweet. I left my job as a surgical RN in Seattle on April 2. Sometimes it's still hard to believe that I'm unemployed. I miss my work family and miss my work, but not enough to give up the sailing adventure life. Best of luck to you! Enjoy the ride!

What a lovely vlog. As a nurse myself of 43 years it was so hard to leave the profession we dedicate our lives to. Your final goodbye Bought a tear to my eyes. I live in Rainbow Beach Australia so I connected somewhat with your Rainbow practice. I have sailed on a cat off the coast of Turkey a few years back and it was a magical time. Some days will be hard and some days magical but the strength resilience and tenacity you have forged as a nurse will get you through this journey. So go and enjoy your life your family and your adventures- you won’t regret it. I will be following with envy that’s for sure ❤

That was a touching video you left your practice. Seeing you guys transfer yo the boat brings back memories how that happened for me ( us at the time) and although boat life comes with ups and downs no regrets about leaving the houses and land life. Be safe, enjoy it and take your time to adapt.

@@SailingParadiseFalls since I have you so to speak :) I just wanted to say that what you are doing is what we would like to but probably won’t (old age and high cost beating us a bit) but we really enjoy being taken along for the journey. So just wanted to tell you that the enormous effort of filming and storing and editing etc does benefit many others. It’s not unappreciated. I hope you guys get many seasons of fantastic experiences in your new life. (I realise it’s a bit behind timeline but that doesn’t matter) and I’ve seen some you go through ups and downs but hope there are many more ups than downs for you guys. Thanks heaps. First thank you for your time in healthcare. I fully understand the overwork and under appreciated. I work in the corporate world and every year there is less and less and they tell us it’s all for our benefit. I love most of what I do, but envision every day about my last day of work. It actually helps me get through the day. After a 10-16+ hour day, it’s mentally exhausting. Enjoy your new life and adventures most will never have. Donate for a Dream
