Hey! what sort of insurance did you get for this trip?

We got an annual insurance with specific places we went in there. You can get specific backpacker insurance etc if you search around but because of underlying conditions we had to go with a specific company that would actually insure us :)

There used to be a free bus from International to Domestic terminals.

There is but we decided to walk, we'd been on the place for over 15 hours straight so wanted to stretch our legs

New Zealand doesn't 🇳🇿 do plastic bags at supermarkets etc. You got to remember that South Island of New Zealand is close to Southern Arctic. I don't know why you buying everything using Britsh Pound.

We are from the UK, and so initially we are converting it in our head to pounds as it makes more sense to us. We are using NZD but thinking still in GBP. We have never visited before so all very new to us and getting used to things compared to back home.
