ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇ ਸੰਭਾਲਣਾ ਅਜੋਕੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇ-ਨਾਤੇ ਹੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਵਜੂਦ ਦੀ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਰ ਚੰਨ ਲਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਜਨਮ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਸਾਡੇ ਅਣਗਿਣਤ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇ ਜੁੜ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਕ ਬੱਚੇ ਦੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਰਿਸ਼ਤਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਵੀ ਵਧਦਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਰਿਸ਼ਤਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਮਾਂ-ਬਾਪ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਹੀ ਅਸੀਂ ਮਮਤਾ, ਤਿਆਗ, ਸਮਰਪਣ, ਦਇਆ ਤੇ ਅਨੁਸ਼ਾਸਤ ਜੀਵਨ ਜਿਉਣਾ ਸਿੱਖਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਭੈਣ-ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਪਿਆਰ, ਸਤਿਕਾਰ, ਸਨੇਹ, ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਵਰਗੇ ਗੁਣ ਸਿੱਖਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਸਾਡਾ ਸਮਾਜ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸਾਡੀਆਂ ਜੜ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜੋੜੀ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਕ-ਦੂਜੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਨਾ ਕੁਝ ਸਿੱਖ-ਸਿਖਾ ਕੇ ਹੀ ਅਸੀਂ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਵਿਚ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧਦੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇ ਹਵਾ ਦੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਆਸੇ-ਪਾਸੇ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸਾਹ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਜੇ ਕਿਤੇ ਰਿਸ਼ਤਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਸਹਾਰਾ ਨਾ ਮਿਲੇ ਤਾਂ ਹਾਲਾਤ ਦੁਖਦਾਈ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦਾ ਅਨੰਦ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਰਿਸ਼ਤਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤੀ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਅਜੋਕੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਕ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇ ਤਿੜਕ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਦੀ ਨੀਂਹ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਪੈ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਕਾਰਨ ਤਾਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਹਨ। ਅੱਜ ਦੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉੱਤੇ ਤਕਨੀਕੀ ਸਹੂਲਤਾਂ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਭਾਰੂ ਹੋ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇ ਦਰਕਿਨਾਰ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਅੱਜਕਲ੍ਹ ਰਿਸ਼ਤਿਆਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਇੰਟਰਨੈੱਟ ਤੇ ਮੋਬਾਈਲ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਆਪਸ ਵਿਚ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਵਾਰ-ਵਾਰ ਮੋਬਾਈਲ ਨੂੰ ਤੱਕਦੇ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਰਿਸ਼ਤਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਚਲਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਆਪਸੀ ਪਿਆਰ, ਇੱਜ਼ਤ, ਸਮਾਂ ਦੇਣਾ, ਸਹੀ ਤਾਲਮੇਲ ਬਿਠਾਉਣਾ, ਸਹਿਣਸ਼ੀਲਤਾ ਤੇ ਇਕ-ਦੂਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝਣ ਦੀ ਜਾਚ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ। ਸਿਰਫ ਇਕ ਪਾਸੇ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ, ਦੂਜੇ ਪਾਸਿਓਂ ਵੀ ਖਿਆਲ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ। ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇ ਤਾਂ ਮੁੱਠੀ ਵਿਚ ਰੱਖੀ ਰੇਤ ਵਾਂਗ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹੇ ਅਤੇ ਹਲਕੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਫੜ ਕੇ ਰੱਖਾਂਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਬਣੇ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ, ਨਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਦਬਾਅ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਹੀ ਹੱਥ 'ਚੋਂ ਤਿਲਕ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਵਿਚ ਹਰ ਰਿਸ਼ਤਾ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ। ਇਮਾਨਦਾਰੀ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਨੂੰ ਉਲਝਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਔਖੀ ਘੜੀ ਵਿਚ ਸਾਡਾ ਰਾਹ ਰੌਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇ ਤਾਂ ਰੂਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਾਂਝ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ। 'ਰਿਸ਼ਤਾ ਕਿਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਹੈ?' ਇਹ ਮਾਇਨੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੱਖਦਾ, ਬਲਕਿ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇ ਵਿਚ ਕਿੰਨਾ ਆਪਣਾਪਣ ਹੈ, ਕਿੰਨਾ ਭਾਵਨਾਤਮਕ ਜੁੜਾਅ ਹੈ, ਇਹ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਹੈ। ਰਿਸ਼ਤਿਆਂ ਵਿਚਲਾ ਨਿੱਘ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਚਲਦੀ ਹੈ। ਦੁੱਖ ਵੇਲੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਸਾਡੇ ਸਿਰ 'ਤੇ ਹੱਥ ਧਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਕਿਸੇ ਫਰਿਸ਼ਤੇ ਤੋਂ ਘੱਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਹੁੰਦਾ। ਸਾਡੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਦੁੱਖਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਲੜਨ ਦੀ ਹਿੰਮਤ ਭਰ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇਹੀ ਤਾਂ ਜਾਦੂ ਹੈ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੋਹ ਭਿੱਜੇ ਰਿਸ਼ਤਿਆਂ ਦਾ। ਇਕ ਰੂਹ ਨਾਲ ਰੂਹ ਦਾ ਰਿਸ਼ਤਾ ਹੈ ਸਾਡਾ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦਾ, ਨਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਇਥੇ ਕੌਣ ਕਿਸੇ ਦਾ ਕੀ ਲਗਦਾ ਹੈ? ਰਿਸ਼ਤਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਭਾਲਣਾ ਬੇਹੱਦ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਰਿਸ਼ਤਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਇਨਸਾਨੀਅਤ ਦਾ। ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇ ਹਨ

Sharan reminds me of my own daughter. She also got married recently. Having two daughters, I realised how great it is to have daughters. Girls know how to keep balance on both sides. They always have to go an extra mile in today's society. The tradition of girls living with their husbands' family probably started because girls used to be so much dependent on her husbands for earning and traditionally the ancestry property has been going to sons.
