Dahil sa kantang "Leaving on a Jet Plane," nabalisa at nag-alala ang mga fans ng FranzRhythm, lalo na nang makita natin sa bandang huli ng video na tila nagpa paalam si Chen sa Mama Lene, Papa Franz, Char at Dodz. Si Chen po ay Grade 12 graduating senior na sa Cambagui-Calinginan Norte National High School (CCNNHS). Si Chen po ay nasa "Work Immersion Performance Appraisal and Assessment" of Grade 12 STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) students. The "Immersion" program allows the students to acquire, learn and develop skills such as teamwork, communication, productivity and decision-making in a quasi work setting.. Kaya si Chen, bilang isa sa may Highest Honors sa CCNNHS, ay participant sa program na ito at dito muna siya sa loob ng one month, more or less, sa Tagbilaran City lalagi. Nandiyan lamang po si Chen, she is still "Here, There and Everywhere" pa rin at kapiling natin siya lalo na kapag ating pinapa tugtog ang Musika ng Banda ng Bayan FranzRhythm Family. Sa katunayan na ating hinahanap-hanap ang mga miembro ng pamilya ay nangangahulugan na sila ay ating true na Love>Love>Love !!! 💌 == ENGLISH === FRANZRHYTHM COMMUNITY SUDDENLY WORRIES "Where's Chen going?"!!! The "Leaving on a Jet Plane" cover makes FranzRhythm fans worry about Chen as the last part of the video seems to show that she's bidding goodbye to Mama Lene, Papa Franz, Char and Dodz. You see, Chen is a 12th grade high school graduating senior at the CCNNHS. She's gone to a "Work Immersion Performance Appraisal and Assessment" for the Grade 12 students of STEM (Science, Tech, Engineering, Math). The "Immersion" program allows the students to acquire, learn and develop skills such as teamwork, communication, productivity and decision-making in a quasi work setting. That's why Chen, being in the group of Highest Honors students, is participating in that program and will not be with the family for about a month. But worry not, Chen is very much with us "Here, There and Everywhere." We feel her presence while we watch and listen to the People's Band music. The truth that we long to see and hear them is a genuine indication of our real "Love>Love>Love" for FranzRhythm! 💌

NOSTALGIA! "Leaving on a Jet Plane" original by John Denver, made popular in the Philippines by Peter, Paul & Mary (PPM). In 1971, my then-girl-friend and I were in a taxicab on our way to the old Manila International Airport and "Leaving on a Jet Plane" was playing on the cab's radio. In a couple of hours, she'd be boarding a PanAm 747 on her way to America. The war in Vietnam was raging and the 747 was full of US servicemen coming from Saigon. PPM also popularized another romantic folk song "Cruel War" that sings of lovers' separation. Thank you Franz, Lene, Chen, Char, Dodz for the memories that your song brings. And Chen, this is also a prelude to your going to college in the Fall. Behold the beauty of Chen's romantic folk. "Leaving on a Jet Plane" speaks of longing and of parting and Chen's sorrowful and anguished voice matches its message. Dodz goes along with a pensive mood with his measured beats at 1:27 that sound like heavy footsteps and the anxiety in Chen's impending departure. Then Chen's guitar weeps at 2:28 .... Char's subdued slower keyboard play at 3:00 has a hesitancy, a resignation and denial that Chen would be away for a while... and this in turn heightens Franz' pulsating heartbeats on his base guitar that begins at 3:17. To appreciate this musical cover, I immerse myself into it and make interpretations of what I see and what I hear at the time that I see and hear it ... and that makes the song comes to life. Chen is musically gifted. Her academic education shouldn't hinder her progress in enhancing her musical skills. I think that a high school degree is enough for her unless she would pursue a music degree in college or a non-music course where she would also excel. (Chen can take inspiration from Brian May, the lead guitarist of Queen who has a doctorate degree in Astrophysics and a University professor without giving up his music career).

Great country rock female version of this iconic song of John Denver. Master Chen's voice was so lovely with the semblance of a cute Karen Carpenter's and of course the original guitar solo was also amazing. I felt a bit of sadness on the later part seeing Master Dodz' seemingly lonely eyes as her Master Chen bid goodbye. Safe trip and good luck Master Chen. Another beautiful performance by everyone! Chen's voice is outstanding! You all seem to choose the best songs to perform. If possible, a last request of you to play I'd Love You To Want Me by Lobo. This is the perfect song for dad to play and sing directly to mom. Just change the lyrics in the song from 'blue eyes" to whatever color mom's eyes are if they are not blue. It's a very simple acoustic guitar song and the original artist teaches everyone how to play it on youtube. I can already hear dad singing this song along with his outstanding acoustic guitar skills.
