Man I’m in the same position. I was a pre-med student and went to CS. I now work in Cyber/Information Security. Lately tho, I’m starting to feel as if this move was a mistake. The importance and impact I would’ve had as a doctor, would have been more greater. I like helping people. That’s all I know. Now, post graduation, I’ve been finishing my pre-med prereqs for medical school and working but I still don’t really know what to do. Lots of confusion😂

If you stop one breach you could be potentially saving 10s of 1000s of lives. Data is the new gold, and we need to protect people's data! Saving Lives With Data!! Don't give up!

Why exactly did you leave medicine? Was it because you fell in love with cybersecurity and genuinely liked it or was medicine just too much to continue / too long or something.

Family finances, they couldn't wait 10 more years until I started getting paid.

@@Abdiyo87 That usually the main reason that why they get paid a lot cause of the opportunity cost.
