He's exactly right. The Black church needs to do so some serious soul-searching.

The Good Rev. Dr. is absolutely right and correct in this message (in my own humble opinion). Perhaps if more of our Pastors were like him, there never would be a problem. Important video.

"Is there a Heaven" "Yes" "How do you know?" "You Don't." Aight. As a Christian who has alot more atheist friends than anything I find myself explaining them my reasons for belief, I don't think Christianity can/will survive the internet age. Now because of Google people can get the answers they want after pressing "search". Faith & belief in something takes work and patience that honestly these generations are losing with the benefits that we have. The life the benefit of the internet and how Prime Delivery and all that people don't like waiting on the Lord. I think people are walking away from the church because it's easier it lacks the community it used to have, and people are wary of corruption within it. My Grandmother made a great community out of the church and has dear friends raised in the church with her. Me on the other hand, I go to church but I don't have deep friendships with anybody that goes, I mean I know the people I go with more than strangers but I struggle to call them friends(Also I'm the only one in my age group who goes to my church). I just go cuz I believe I should but I'm very certain it would be a better experience if I did. It doesn't have the same Community or the same patiences as it used to especially with the problem of all these new questions that people have to answer that they never thought of before. Especially how clear it is to see how it has been weaponized on our people during slavery of course people want to leave. I don't think the problem is just on the people either I mean as a church leader you have to figure out how to explain all these things and honestly I don't think a lot of Pastors know how to. It's hard to modernize religion that's why it's not supposed to be. And most importantly Christianity like most to all religions is about getting to the afterlife, an afterlife where people who believe will find ultimate peace and rewards from choices and restraint in this life, but no one wants to wait on heaven anymore they want their problems solved they want their prayers answered they want proof all of this is for something. I believe it is, I don't know but I believe. This a great video though Allen nice little change of pace. I think the Grapevine channel has good discussions on this topic.

While the church needs too evolve, we need to ask in "which way". I disagree that the word needs to be updated, words like abomination are clear. Church became weak once it watered down those words of God too appease everyone. Everyone isnt going to like the taste of the medicine and we need to accept that. It feels like the church is more interested in expanding than teaching the actual word which is how the community got so lost and so confused. If we cant abide be his word as written by Moses, then we will not enter his kingdom and that's cut and dry. Do you want to feel good on earth or enter into heaven, that's reality.

I agree with you completely. We should not try to "update" the Bible. Changing the word of God to fit man's modern day sensibilities is sacrilegious.

Since arriving to US we could never worship God the way we were supposed to due to the fact of America being the curse of where we are to live. Deuteronomy 28:15 spoke on what would happen if we disobeyed God. Deuteronomy 28:68 Moses told us we will go to Egypt(House of bondage) on Ships. There is one group behind all of this Askenazi Jews that paid for and slavery. One particular family holds 80% of the world’s wealth. This prophecy of these people are in Revelation 2:9. Their job is to feed us lies for us to destroy ourselves within. This is why we have a spiteful eye towards our brother (Deuteronomy Deuteronomy 28:54). In my anecdotal experience I grew up in the church my whole life and so many things left me with questions. When I finally got the opportunity to study I began to praise God for the truth coming out. I won’t cut down this pastor because he is doing his best, however, look at the Law and line it up to church society and land laws and ask yourself, are these laws in line with God? Or is everything outside the law easy to get into? Remember these scriptures: sin is the transgressions of the law (1John 3:4) The love of God is keeping the Commandments (1 John 5:2) Out of Christ’s mouth: think not that I’ve come to destroy the law or the law or the prophets (Matthew 5:17-19) Shalom (Peace) Brothers and sisters!

A pivotal moment came when african-american followers of Christ began as they read the Word of God for themselves. Every tribe and nation understands their purpose and position under God as they examine the Scriptures for themselves. When Augustine understood that God’s Word was written to his conscience, he turned to confess his need. When Martin Luther understood his position before God, he began a protest. It’s Christ who sets us free, because even in the land of opportunity a man who knows not truth will never discern a good decision from the complicated challenging best decision. But when men are equipped to be more than conquerors, when men grab the Book, tearing his robe of comfort, weeping bitterly at the time wasted then he turns to read it over his family…walking it out as a testimony to God’s loveliness. God will hear from heaven and pour out rivers of living water. God will call fathers and mothers to drink. Refresh yourselves for the journey has just begun.

The first step is we need to stop calling our faith in THE MOST HIGH & HIS SON a "religion"
