Going to Prescott on Sunday for a greyhound event then was planning on car camping heading back overnight along Wolf Creek Road south of Prescott overnight Sunday and then head down Phoenix way Monday afternoon maybe stop near Wickenburg. Got my thick comforters and a 30 degree sleeping bag to use as extra cover if needed..lol

Matty, every year going to Q from Western Colorado, I go visit my cousin and his wife in Prescott for a visit and then I head south west to Q from there. I always love that road every year!😀🏕️🧡

That statue reminded me of when I worked for California Young Adult Conservation Corp. The smoke jumpers who parachute into wildfires were called hot shots.

I was going to say something about it. The Yarnell 19, the hotshot wildfire fighters who were killed when a fire overran their safe spot, was a tragedy. Songs and ballads have been written about it.

I just drove that road on Saturday, coming home from Mingus Mountain. I stoped to get the geocache that’s at the memorial for the Hot Shots. I’m coming back soon to do the hike, waiting for it to cool down a little more! I think I know right where you’re at, I always think about camping out that way!! Thanks for the video Matty! 🌵✌🏼

I only use two tanks of propane the whole winter, BBQ style tanks... Yep, I'll be there this winter. The weather is good there from November to March 👍
