Loosing a child is hard, My sister lost her eldest to a brain tumour about 10 years ago (she was 12), we all miss her, but my sister and her husband especially so, it's little things that happen day to day that will reminder you of her, so the mourning never really finishes, but it does get easier with time, She lives on in your memories especially the happy ones. You've done really well to keep this channel alive all things considered, so an extra 👍 from me.

Not sure if you have health insurance or not, if you do, once you leave the USA you'll find your premiums will go down, also places like Mexico & Malaysia, and other "developing" countries have really awesome healthcare that's also affordable, so when in those countries get you health issues attended to

Two years ago I sailed from Beaufort NC directly to St-Martin in the Caribbeans. I left Nov 16 after hurricane Nicole and arrived Dec 1st. It went well except one half a day where I hove to. Once in St-Martin, you can can come back west with fair winds and following seas.

2 months behind is pretty current for a Sailing YT channel, some Sailing YT channels can be 6-12 months behind real time, this is really useful when crossing oceans

Baltimore is tricky to get to with a Northerly wind. Watch for the shallow shoals and sand bars your sailing in my backyard so maybe we’ll cross paths stay safe and enjoy Annapolis.

Hello my dears. So happy that Yous are keeping on going especially after the hardest event in Ur life… prayers for you both… I am truly trying to get my little girl boy out there this year… I recall U’s did an episode where Todd put stainless rail and you said U’ll look into tack welding them later… could you possibly share which episode that was as I truly want to get that little project done with my little boat… May I suggest the great loop and Nova Scotia as a trip to knock out?? 😊😊 All my love. Blessed sails to you all…

Greetings from Tucson, Arizona. I've been seriously looking for 10-12 mionths and as soon as I find a new home for the 'anchor' preventing me from selling my house, I'll become a 'live aboard'. The boats in consideration are from Seattle to San Diego and as soon as I make a decision and get provisions stowed, I'll be heading to Panama/South America then 'turning right' to the horizon.

I do not want to go to Europe at this time. It's way to violent . I would like to visit Ireland but not right now. The Caribbean is a much better idea. I have spent several hurricane seasons in Trinidad and the A,B,C Islands. Hope you have a good time at the Boat Show. Cheers, S/V Cork ~Texas 🇺🇸⛵🐬🐕💖

I would ask someone that has a lot of experience to go with you to help you learn more about sailing safely. That would be the best for you and your family along with viewers. Not knowing what you are lacking is a safety issue. Good luck.

todd and tammy, To get to Bahamas the route is go due East 400 miles then sail south. Will you work the powerboat show,as,well as the, sailboat show? Fyi. You can go up the usa west coast north . friends did that 2 years ago up to Alaska and then across to Hawaii . they wrote a blog about it if your interested. ( then on around world!). So if you cross the Atlantic you don't have to go to the med at all. Bermuda , Azores ,france or UK ( out of shengan!) Then on to Netherlands wonderful cruising . You could winter in UK , if your ok with cold and wet. No snow. You could even do calandion canal and loop UK then on around etc, You dont have to go to med at all , I get it med is weird. Then later go south and across to Tenerife canaries etc and on to Caribbean etc Cheers warren

Just a thought, something that might get you some new subscribers, do one of your Caledonia Scotland shows in Steampunk clothing and lingo, narrated with a Steampunk story. And while you are at it, you might attend some Steampunk conventions if you can find them. Just know that those things can have many different kinds of attendees.

U guys saying the eggs is 5 dollars try paying 8 dollars for a dozen of eggs. We are building a chicken coop and about to get chickens I’m tired of paying 8 dollars for eggs. We are in California. That would be good to go to Europe it’s beautiful over there. It’s understandable it takes time that was your baby you loss. That’s awesome to have a buddy boat to travel with.
