This was so great, really fantastic and in-depth interview. Raz is so human in the way he talks, reflects and thinks about things. I feel great admiration and love for him, and other Jews and Israelis who have broken free from zionism.

Best Raz Siegel interview I’ve seen 👏 been reading his articles since the “Textbook Case of Genocide” in the immediate wake of Oct 7th + seen several interviews of his since ✊

Hello, thank you for your help, what is the word he is saying at 17:46 please, a group he is referring to. Before he says there is a whole debate until today. Thank you.

Fantastic talk. (allow me to smilingly ask for less repetitions of the interjected word "right" 😉 ) ?

Outside intervention: how can one be anti-zionist and characterize this as a discussion among jews/israelis only? nobody else's input wanted? did I misunderstand this? sorry to break it to you, the discussion will need to include palestinians... ya?

Raz is a Palestinian Jew

I came here because I thought raz would give an interesting insight on why he left zionisem. I was really Dissapointed to hear his ideas and views, especially when it concerns ashkenazi Jews. My jewish Lithuanian grandparents managed to flee Lithuania before the war . Most of my Lithuanian family were taken to the end of a forest and shot dead. NOBODY in my family ever spoke of Lithuania as being our "homeland ". Nobody ever yearned to go back there. It was obvious to everyone that they have to move on.
@octagonPerfectionistАй бұрын
nobody said they had to go back, especially after what happened. he never said that.

Where did they "yearn" to "go back to"? Palestine? Do you think if they weren't given the option of another peoples homeland, the notion off "yearning" might not have been a consideration? People normally flee out of desperation....somewhere safe. There is usually no thought of "yearning" for a place they have no material connection to.

Serious question - were they shot dead by Lithuanians or the Germans who were occupying Lithuania? I think what Raz Segal is saying is that there was a life before the German occupation and the memory of that has been lost. Why would someone want to go back when their entire community was destroyed? That’s natural. But what Zionism has done is completely re-write history to erase everything before the Holocaust as if there was nothing. According to Zionists, History only has 3 dates: 2000 years ago, the Holocaust and 10/07. Everything before and after is emptiness. The answer to why he left Zionism is simply that he started investigating and thinking critically about this emptiness. I recommend for you to do the same ❤

Your family would have been welcomed in Palestine as long as you did not want to take it over, change it's culture, and drive the inhabitants out. But that is what the Zionists wanted and did. It could have been beautiful. Maybe it can, if people like Raz can convert young Zionists.

Most zionists were expeled from arab countries and have their lands confiscated. Just to remind. Its lie that most zionists are Europeans. Lands were purchased from arab lord lands and not stoled. If yes give examples
