A Somalian friend of mine told a story, he went to Lebanon to study and lived in an apartment with a Lebanese. He said he experienced racism from the Lebanese roommate and when the Lebanese roommate was leaving the apartment, he lite a fire while the Somalian guy was sleeping. He woke up and the Lebanese guy quickly left after he saw the Somalian guy was waking up. The Somalian had to put the fire out.

There is a rumour that during the lebanese civil war that the Israelis forced people to drive around in cars loaded with bombs. They'd send cars into Sunni territory and Shia territory with the hope of creating strife so the militas would focus their attention on each other rather than the Israeli army. I'm not sure how reliable the info is but Robert Fisk talks about it in his book "Pity The Nation".

People used to look up to South Asia in the ancient times. Foreigners used to study in Nalanda university. I remember ancient Chinese called India “civilized” and “center of knowledge”. Scientists and mathematicians of the islamic golden age admired our work. Greeks and Romans also used to look up to us. Good old times. Anglo-Saxons and other Westerners are the reason that South Asians face discrimination worldwide. They ruined our image by portraying us as animal f*ckers, street sh*tters, unhygienic (India needs to work on it, I admit, but man often it is over exaggerated), savages, r*pists, etc. West butchered our reputation.

@d the best because the EU forced other European countries to take care of refugees. Some countries such as Poland and Hungary weren't happy with that. Also the Greeks weren't actually keen either for having refugees in their country. The EU then asked Turkey to take care a large amount of refugees in return for that they would also provide financial support for sheltering them. Why else do think that Turkey has 4-5 million refugees in their country? Most of them migrated to Europe and then brought back to Turkey.
