Could someone pls tell me who was singing during this video. I am lebanese born and I left a long time ago. I think that singer is outstanding. I like her rhythm better than Feyruz. Thanks.

Why are many of the posts perpetuating the conflict? surely such a wonderful collection of photos should remind you that people of different race and religion CAN live together. This is an amazing record of a country that once proved that such a thing was possible. Respect to nehadsherin for taking the time to put it together for posterity. Thank you!

Hezbollah didn't even exist when most of the destruction happened. People with attitudes such as yours could be see to be partly responsible. Not that I don't understand how one can be blinded by their own pain and fear and pushed into supporting the very thing that hams them, but that doesn't exchort you from whatever (maybe small) responsiblility you have. How about "poor people of Lebanon" instead of "poor lebanon"?
