I have specifically made trips to my parent's farm to clean up areas before anything happens to either one. It isn't a great feeling to plan in this way, but it is definitely worth having them around for some of the items we find.

If anybody sees this from the show, get my appreciation to Dan and Jessica please for speaking up on how to handle our parents stuff. My very brief take having gone thru it: the kids need to be proactive, like if I was Chris and his siblings, I'd get in there now and find out what it all is, keep a private written inventory on behalf of mom and dad cus it's easy to get overwhelmed. Easier said then done, but we make time for whats important, even when inconvenient. And it's better to attack it when we're less distracted. Maybe ask what mom and dad might want done with some things when absolultely necessary, but be prepared if they don't have answers. That's normal.

I can't understand how Adrian Beltre, a 20 year compiler that barely got to 3000 hits, got in on his first ballot. He is only a 4 time all star. And somehow Andrew Jones still isn't in?! It's the first ballot part that I'm objecting to. I'm not saying he is wholly undeserving, but he is NOT first ballot good. Todd Helton has a better argument for first ballot than Beltre. There are even more deserving players on that list too, that didn't get in.

C'mon Greg, you're a football guy. I know it's largely AFC-oriented with the Dolphins, and the Lions weren't big news in his time, but Sanders played for 10 seasons. That's not at all a short career, esp. for a RB. And he's #4 all-time in rushing yards.
