Hi NoneKing. We enjoy your content! You dont need an offroad biased tyre for this on your 4x4. Normal tyre would work. Lot of rock though. So from a toughness pov, it might be beneficial.

I just saw another video where the group experienced 3 flats with sidewall cuts. The one 4x2 vehicle also needed to be recovered twice.

Hi What is the condition of the trail itself, will a 4x4 beginner manage the trail or does it require a bit of 4x4 experience?

Hi Zunaid. It’s not a 4x4 oriented trail. It is an eco trail with minimal 4x4 obstacles. If you don’t tow anything it will be no problem even for a beginner. Towing a caravan can be a little challenging but the park doesn’t recommend that at all.

Hi There! It really is a wonderful experience and 100% worth it! You can book directly with Sanparks or on the Sanparks website. Its R11,200 per vehicle and you are allowed 4 people per vehicle for the same cost. Try to have a similair experience in Botswana, it will set you back double that amount.
