My respect for Kobe went through the roof with these types of videos..he respected his elders, the ones who gave him his opportunity like MJ did to Larry, Magic and so on! Yet wanted to face them and kick his ass! I love it! Admire but want to, and believe you would destroy them! Peak Kobe vs peak MJ would be highest rated sports game or series ever!

In one of Kobe's last interviews he said that MJ broke down in detail how to beat the Celtics. He also said everything about me, I got from him. That's when I realized MJ throughout his career was his direct basketball Sensei and not just tapes studying 🥋🏀

This one of the things that players these days need to be doing. Learn from the ones before them, emulate everything you can to become the best of yourself and you will be great because you have a strong foundation.

Both Kobe and Michael were tireless workers and students of the game. Not many people have are like that. Lebron is softer. He has that body but he is weaker. He is not a fanatic. He has a softer side which kinda makes him normal ig and not a freak but one has to be a freak to become MJ and Kobe. What Lebron achieved was trough self decipline but I think he wasnt always 100%. He is not wired like Michael jordan and kobe Bryant.

this is why my goat debate has always been mj and then kobe i do realize lebron is a good player but i dont see that hunger that killer mentality and i think thats what makes it hard for me to put lebron above kobe plus my whole argument when i would get in the goat debate with the younger generation is if lebron would have passed kobe or mj in the same amount of time i could see but lebron has played how many more years then jordan ive always look at it if you owned a company you want someone that bust his ass everyday or a guy thats good but will stay around for 21 years

Truth is, peak Kobe had a hard time against 40 yo Jordan. So I already know what would have happened if Jordan was at his peak against peak Kobe.

When their teams met at DC, no Shaq. MJ definitely schooled him a bunch of times. As you said 40yrs old doing this. Him 12yrs before Wizards? Forget about it. He was a far superior player.

@@queztheplug 😂 I mean…But young Buck, I appreciate your enthusiasm for the game and your curiosity regarding old greats of the game. The narratives put forth today are all intended as marketing to draw viewership. And sometimes they are disingenuous about many things. I grew up in the 90’s and during that time I too was curious about the history of the game. I was too young to remember the Bird/Magic Rivalry or the Sixers/Lakers Kareem etc. But I learned history fast. And enjoyed every minute of it. Thanks for making quality content!

@@TheGr8-1 I think Kobe knew his limitations which is why he said that. But it's still not a knock on him to give everything his body and mind could to try and get to that level anyway. And imitation is the biggest form of flattery.

Kobe was a student of the game yes he wanted to be like Mike but even in a interview once he said he wanted to be himself because its only 1 Mike, he studied wilt Jerry west bird magic mike Russell Allen Iverson, kobe was one of a kind ge even went to hakeem camp down in Houston, every player looked up to someone, kobe as a player was more skilled than lebron especially on offense in a era where 99 points was the highest ppg in the league
