People gotta understand how shocking it was that Lebron collapsed in the finals that year. Lebron was INSANELY clutch in the series va Boston vs bulls, he hit so many clutch shots especially in games 4 and 5 of both rounds it seemed like he was absolutely dispelling any proclamations he was unclutch. And then suddenly in the finals he fell apart in the 4th quarters. Credit the mavericks zone defense amd Tyson Chandler tho

Huge Lebron fan and I call it karma from the basketball gods. All three of them were crazy arrogant and brought a lot of hate onto themselves. If they played it humble all year they still would have got some hate but their mental balance would have been better. They went up against a team that was flowing right and felt like they could beat anyone. They played the villains and got beat like they deserved.

@@bobbyvalentino6773 nah bro you could see it they all thought they were gonna have it easy and they had to go on the road all year into damn near playoff like atmospheres it was nuts. But if they'd kept it cool and just said "we haven't won anything we have a lot to prove" a LOT more people would have rooted for them in those four years and they definitely 3peat. Its the only series where Lebron just straight up seemed out of place and its because those Mavs played like they deserved to be there and as a unit. The Heat were 3 stars and some other dudes that first year.

He was a beast in the first 3 rounds of the playoffs, if he played that exact way in the finals that year the Mavs would have been swept but the inhuman pressure got to him, wish things coulda gone differently that year

Yeah, it was more internal, Wade wants the FMVP that year, LeBron was being kinda passive and supportive for his brother during the Finals, all ECF playoffs he was not doing so. Yeah, that's the Chip he should've won but didn't.

Something definitely happened during that 2011 Finals. It's not like LeBron was playing bad. He wasn't shooting at all. Even Bosh attempted more FGs than him. It's weird as hell. Seemed like he knew he was the best player on the team, but felt like Wade should get Finals MVP, cause Miami was "his city" and the Heat was "his team", but he can't actually play as a sidekick. I don't know...

Wade has said that he told Lebron that the Heat had to be his team for them to win and that sparked their back to back titles and his 3rd and 4th mvps

If he was missing shots, struggling, cool. But he wasn't shooting at all. I'd rather lose when LeBron shoots 25-30 shots per night, then to see Bibby bricking 3 after 3.

He was at his athletic peak but couldn't read defenses , play off Ball, only ran 4- OUTs (3 on the wing, 1 to set the pick which was to against the opposing pg ) flat jumpshot. I'll take kobe 2010-2011 season over Brons anyday of the week. Wade had a better year

Yeah, if he took charge from the beginning and had that mentality like in Cleveland that he was the #1 in charge, im pretty sure that year would have gone a lot differently for him

yeh, this year he played like a poimt guard, pretty much only didnpick and rolls as the ball handler and either drove to the rim or took a midrange j. He was missing the low post positioning and post moves, the offball cuts. This was one of the main reasons why he played bad in the finals because in the first 3 rounds his midrange contested jumper was hitting but im the finals he couldnt hit the midrange j and the zone d made it difficult for him to get to the rim + the shrinking. Immediately next year the first game vs dallas you could see he almost went to the post every possession and had way less pick and rolls
