@@gorandragic1728 He meant that LeBron could score that much if he wanted to. He did not mean (I think) that he could make those threes every game. To be honest, most of the greats could put up insane numbers like this regularly. However, they know that it does not lead to team success. Jordan's 63 vs the Celtics was a loss, and Wilt lost so many games with inhuman numbers. Basketball is a team sport that requires the team playing as a whole.

Lebron is statistically the better offensive player. He does better slightly more efficiently. Mj is only the better scorer because that’s what’s asked of him. The good ones are still emphatic when opposing teams make exciting plays. Eric Reid and Tony Fiorentino, the Miami Heat commentators, will still exclaim, commend, and get excited when other teams play well. It makes the game more exciting and enjoyable. As basketball fans, people generally enjoy seeing great plays even if they're made against their favorite team. That's why people enjoy watching the marquee matchups like OKC vs MIA, instead of just their team beating the Bobcats.

Even if Lebron James loses every finals that he goes to from now on, He will still be one of the best all around basketball players the NBA has ever had. At first it was basically the only hole in his game so everybody fell in love with the "he can't shoot" criticism and now they don't want to let go of it. But watch the games, look at the percentages...he has a jumper. And as much as people may hate to hear this, he's a better three-point shooter than Jordan ever was.

I suppose it depends where you're from and how much NBA knowledge you have. For example, while I know you get home and away commentary, in the UK, for football (soccer) the commentary is normally done by whatever channel is showing the game, and they normally have no affiliation with either team, so you would expect good and lively commentary regardless of who was playing at home or away. A lot of people commenting may just follow the NBA casually and aren't aware you can get home and away commentary.
