lakers and Denver, we need another big man like AD in the team to tire out the Joker and the others. In 2020, we had Dwight Howard who was working extremely hard in the rim with Joker which allowed AD to be dominant and hit game winning shots. AD alone is not enough, we need MO Bamba to work hard against the Joker.

I don’t know if Bamba is up to the task. Don’t forget that Dwight was a two time defensive player of the year. Even while not in his prime, he had still sharp defensive instincts. Bamba on the other hand, is the biggest disappointment of the trade newcomers. He played worse than beasley. I don’t know if Bamba can deal with the pressure of a WCF against a two time MVP. It has to be Davis. He has to guard the Joker full time. Lakers have enough offensive weapons. But only one elite rim protector

I don't think that the Lakers will be able to slow down the Nuggets' offense enough to win. They were able to contain the Warriors' motion offense, but that was largely because of Davis' role as a helper. He won't be able to do that against Jokic, and that is going to put a ton of strain on everyone else on the roster. Nuggets in 6

Wrong! The Lakers defense will be back to normal! The Nuggets aren't going to be trying to draw Lebron and especially AD away from the basket with motion and pick rolls. The Nugget will not be small ball to the extreme like the Warriors. It basically took Rui out of the game because you couldn't play him against GSW with AD and Lebron on the court against their small ball lineup! Walker, Schroeder, Rui, Gabriel and a few others will be able to play in the Nugget series because the Nuggets style and play isn't the same as the Warriors!

Browns contract ends anyway. There will be a market for players like him (minimum). It would very much surprise me if Lakers would take the team option for Beasley. 16 million for a non factor in the playoffs. Plus the Lakers will need money to pay Reaves and a good PG. Lakers where really smart with the trades. They are really flexible next year with essentially only 4 players on the roster (Lbj, AD, Vando, Bamba). Get Reaves and a good PG (DLo might be too expensive for his output in my eyes) and fill the rest of the roster with minimum guys
