A lot of that is down to the way Spoelstra coaches. He focuses a lot on hustle and defence and timing rotations. The reason this team worked was because of what Spoelstra could construct with the team defensively and the fact we had 3 elite all around offensive players to counter act the fact he isn't a great offensive coach as well as the fact that our defence turned itself into our offence with the amount of turnovers we forced. I miss this Miami team. 😥

Evomre People always bring up that 2013 as the year he was robbed for DPOY, and a lot of that stems from A. The hype he had rightfully generated that season and B. Because Marc Gasol, who actually won it, didn't even make 1st Team All Defense that year, oddly enough. But not only do I think Gasol was better on D than LeBron that year (the reason he didn't make the All Defensive 1st team is because voters tend to value games played more for awards like MVP or DPOY than All NBA or All Defense), but I think the real season LeBron ought to have won was 2009.
