LeBron breaking down the Kyle Anderson play was so great. Smart players who can think in the moment can make a huge difference.
@erinlaskey98736 ай бұрын
You know what's annoying about that play, it's that Kyle had to demonstratively motion at KAT to get him open. KAT, as one of the main scoring options in his team, should be the one asking for that screen. Starting to think he's not that cerebral or instinctively equipped to execute reactive plays deep into the playoffs.

Something about the way Boston plays doesn’t sit right with me for some reason, it’s crazy when GSW was killing the 3s in their prime it seemed different than Boston recently playing with that type of 3 point heavy shooting style, think it’s because they have so many more long athletic players that don’t really HAVE to only shoot 3’s but I think they are an analytics based team and that kind of dictates why they shoot so many 3s.

I highly doubt how equipped Washington & Jones Jr are to defend JT & JB. If those matchups don’t hold, along with the other mismatches defending White/Holiday (unless you really think Kyrie and Luka bout to do that + Lively defending the perimeter all series… ) the scales are tipped significantly in Bostons favor.

As good as Dallas defense has been they've been able to cheat off players in the playoffs. You can't do that against the Celtics. also the Celtics chances are will always have 4 players on the floor that can take you off the dribble. The fact Dallas has been able to cheat off players it's made Kyrie and Luka look like way better defenders. There not good defenders.

Mavs fans hang their hats on PJ and DJJ defending the Jays. They're hoping that these two guys will defend at an All-NBA level. On the other hand, Celtics actually have two All-NBA Defense guards and two All-NBA forwards who received votes for All-NBA Defense, plus a 7'3" rim protector and savvy defensive vet who also made All-NBA and All-NBA Defense team before. @@nocturne311Boston will force 3s it’s who they are. Gafford and Lively will meet them at the rim and the Celtics players will drive and pop. LBJ just exposed how poor of a coach JJ would be. Dallas IS NOT a good defense. That’s why they hid defenders vs OKC and MINN. You can’t hide Kyrie who IS a MASSIVE defensive liability. And, honestly, so is Luka. This might be a sweep bc BOS has THE best defense in the entire NBA. And Dallas can NOT defend literally any position. Kyrie can be “engaged” all he wants. He still can’t guard his position. I’m not sure he can stay in front of many ppl on BOS; and he certainly can’t body bigger players on a switch. And the Celtics are bigger at literally every position. Irving is as Rasheed Wallace said recently, too effing little. At least Luka is big. JJ acting like that isn’t an issue is so sad.

we don't under estimate the talent of the, Mavs they are so good. but Boston is different from the other match up.. consider the maturity of the Jays, their experience, the supporting cast is diff from the previous ones.. the defense, big Al, White, Porzingis, Jrue, PP...they are the no. 1 seed over all.. that's not a guarantee..but man, this a different team... you can't count them out that easy.. who knows who would win?..this is an exciting match
