I don’t like all the LeBron Hate because LeBron is FOR Black Culture. He never sold out. He gave us inspiration to become more. He defied the odds of LIFE and TIME. He stayed strong and remained confident despite how many people try to drag him through the mud. LeBron is the definition of Black Excellence. 🙏🏽

Guy continues to perform at the highest level and does the same off the court, never in trouble, giving back...i mean he built a school lol. Aja is saying exactly what I’ve been saying. I don’t know nothing about these WNBA players. They’re not invested in building the WNBA brand. They need to be more approachable and more transparent.
@Tigerkem
@Tigerkem 2 жыл бұрын
I think the powers that be really don't know their audience to grow the game. They mostly focus on one school(Uconn) or players of a certain complexion(White and or lightskin). They disregard all the amazing stories and personalities of the other players. Even someone like A'ja who is attractive, well spoken, talented and has a great personality had gotten half the amount of coverage as Sabrina Ionescu who only played less than 5 games in her rookie season, where A'ja in the same season was the league MVP and led her team to the finals. If the WNBA wants to grow they will have to stop limiting their coverage to only certain demographics.

@@Tigerkem Good points! I also think the WNBA needs to get serious about marketing their product towards women...if you look at the most popular female athletes, they are popular because women like them! The WNBA needs a fashion show, a reality show, and a roundtable like talk show with guests. That will attract women. They also need to give out an award to women in business and industry. They need to capitalize off of their greatest asset which is not their athletic ability but their connection to one of the most lucrative markets out there 'women ages 18-45'.

With the context of the full episode, I didn't see anything wrong with what Lebron said about who he wanted to play with. The question was asked to everyone and when it was his turn he gave a full, honest and transparent answer. It wasn't just a "Lebron is trying to recruit Steph" thing that the talking sports heads were attempting to make it into. In the great words of Perk, please "carry the hell on."

Rozay should be a motivational speaker for high-school students, employees, etc. I just saw Lebron facial expression when he said everyone wants that bag but Don't want to put in that work to get it. Shout to Ms. Wilson on that legendary contract 👏🏾 I know Lebron will do everything in his power to her and the wnba change.
