I like that LeBron is a family man and he isn't a party animal and doesn't get in trouble. I mean he's like one of the richest athletes in the world and can literally buy anything and can have any woman in the world, but he's so "down to earth" and humble. I feel you on that. I got you beat by a good number of years, so I've had a chance to see a few more Stars/Greats of the game. From Kareem to Elvin Hayes, Jerry West, Pistol Pete, Moses Malone, on up to seeing a Lebron, Giannis, Durant, Curry, The Joker. I couldn't play BB good even when I was younger 😂, but I've loved BB my whole life. Some players are like magic with a basketball, Kyrie on ball handling, Magic on passing, Curry on shooting.

From Jordan, to Magic, to Kobe etc. All these players contributed to the game of basketball one way or another and LeBron is just one of them. For him to be able to get drafted number one pick overall to winning 4 championships, 4 MVPS and Finals MVPS, becoming the All-Time leading scorer in the NBA and completing the best comeback in NBA history against the Warriors in 2016, I think his resume speaks for itself. I can go on and on but of course everyone has opinions on who the greatest player of all time is so that will always continue to be a debate. However, LeBron is considered by most people who are avid basketball fans a top 5 player in history. Even many NBA legends say he is an all time great regardless if you think he is the GOAT or not. When he retires from the league, my childhood will truly be over. Every person I grew up watching in every sport has come and gone except for Lebron. My favorite athletes have all retired except Lebron. Its been a joy to watch him grow as a young kid in the league with all the hype behind him to now being the GOAT, imo, of the game. Never had any controversy, always been respectful, and never cheated the game. Truly an inspiration in life

From driving from my hometown Cleveland to Akron to watch his high school games to now its amazing. I used to always think he has accomplished alot but what would he have been like if he had that dog killer instinct-like aggression that both Jordan and Kobe played with I can only imagine. I am glad I had a chance in my life to see both Jordan and Bron play LIVE in their careers. I was there when Jordan lit the Cavs up for 69 ( he also had 18 boards and 4 steals sheesh) and obviously attended a ton of Lebron games in Cleveland. I hate I never saw Kobe play but I will get out to LA now that I live in Vegas to watch Lebron play before its over and with any luck after its over maybe the NBA will grant him a team in Vegas now that we have recently won the WNBA championship and the Stanley Cup. Great player, great man to his community a great father great husband to the woman he has been with since high school and still looks at her like he is crushing on her. Random: My fav version of Lebron was the second season in Miami #6 version he was a nightmare he played angry that entire season and barely spoke to the press.

For as long as I hated on Lebron for most of his career, I eventually came to admire him and his greatness as an athlete and as a human being. "You're going to respect me and appreciate what I've given to this game" hit me like a ton of bricks. Despite how you feel about him as a player, you can't hate on the way he carries himself with so much poise, on how he is a family man who loves his wife and has raised beautiful children, and on how he has given so much to elevate the game of basketball. Whether you view MJ or Lebron as the goat, this game would not be what it is today without Lebron James.

When LeBron does decide to retire he needs to announce before the season so that teams can give him a Dr J type send-off across the entire league. Love him or hate him, this man deserves that. Cavs fan here, I will never forget 2016, thanks LeBron!!!

I grew up watching MJ he was the reason I chose the game of basketball and loved it, Kobe inspired me to go on having that mamba mentality, Lebron made me realize that no matter how much people hate you, you have to inspire them by bringing out that good inside you. Lebron made an impact on this game like no other athlete. He will always be remembered As the GOAT.

People often debate between Kobe and LeBron. But what I think is the best about both of them is that they shared the same strong passion for the game itself. It would be so cool to see LeBron James and his son on the same team in a couple seasons. I hope that happens

It’s really not about him and I have always respected that so much, as much as he achieved individually, it’s always been for his teammates, the city he plays in and his family. I was 8 years old when bron got to the league and my goodness, what a journey it’s been. The greatest sports career to watch by a country mile to me. The beauty in the struggle is real. Thank you for letting me and countless others fall in love with the game of basketball and specifically your own game, not that we could replicate what you did but with the sport not really being present in my country two decade ago, the love and joy that you’ve played with all of your career is boundless and reaches everyone.
