Amen. As others have said, this was arguably the best form of any basketball player - coupled with team success - in history. I'd say a top 3 season of all time, easily. The shooting, passing, efficiency, team success, blocks, defending - all before the NBA entered the ballooned 3-point era with higher PPG. Lebron has and never will be a stat-padder or stat chaser.

I wish LeBron cared more about scoring...his team in miami were good enough to play around him...that's role players jobs....they should of won more.but he was too unselfish yet needed the ball in his hands to set up plays like a guard rather than post up or attack ...he needs to care less about assists and more about scoring...be more mj then magic...3-5 aaaists are fine....nobody really cares...its not being selfish..just shoot more...gives your team chances to rebound more ..which is their job...gives defenses less time to react and predict what your doing...sometimes it helps to be a volume shooter.. Keeps player on their heels...dont know when your going to pull up so they stay closer to you so you don't shoot or back up expecting a jumper and you find someone or hit it..

Asmosis Jones I agree but to this day it paid off he’s top 4 and soon to be 3 next season in All Time Points and he’s top 10 in assist. All about the Legacy
@isiahcurry15934 жыл бұрын
Asmosis Jones I 100% disagree with your statement. LeBron James is a playmaker. A primary ball-handler. It doesn’t make sense for someone to shoot 20+ shots a game if they’re one of the greatest floor-generals in the NBA. I think you’re judging this based off of this video alone. LeBron made his teammates better when he distributed more. I just do not agree with “Oh, he could’ve won more if he scored more.” If that’s the case then you could’ve said the same thing about Kobe if he “passed more.” Your logic is heavily flawed here. LeBron played his game and it won 2 championships in Miami. They lost to a team that was built off one of the greatest dynasties ever with one of the top breakout players in the NBA. Do not blame that on LeBron being passive.

Whenever somebody tries to tell me LBJ isn't amoung the top 3 greatest ever, I point them to this season. Zero weaknesses, plus we forget how freakishly athletic he was 7 years ago. I mean, how do you shoot 574 from the field playing this aggressively from outside? The numbers make it seem like he was just getting layups off D.Wade and Bosh taking pressure, but he was shooting a lot of iso pullups over the defense in this vid. He was basically just in the zone all season.
