The Los Angeles Lakers couldn’t avoid the sweep last night losing to the Denver Nuggets 113-111. LeBron finished with a game-high 40 points and was one assist shy of a triple-double. LeBron also wasn’t able to connect on the potential game-tying drive at the buzzer after he was blocked by Aaron Gordon. Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe react to Lakers being eliminated from the NBA Playoffs.

Imo, MAlone should have given Jokic a 2 minute game time rest at the start of the 4th. Murray could have sealed the game if he made his floater. Facts.Their stars were fantastic and when they needed it someone different stepped up every game. Gordon in game 4, KCP was fantastic the entire series , Brown made very timely shots througuout the series, and the ball found MPJ off of defelctions and offensive rebounds for tiomely 3s many times. They are a true team with elite stars. They should win the finals.

Been a Nuggets since George McGinnis in '75 and then Dr. J. in '76 knocked them out of the ABA playoffs. Denver was the better team in 75-76 and was up by 22 points in Nassau Coliseum against the Nets in the third quarter of game 6, . . . and lost by 6. Good defense and smart coaching, some underdogs and superstars, it didn’t all come together but it was compelling to watch.
