What sir taught us in this lecture is about Diminishing Marginal Utility also called Negative Marginal Utility but what you are talking about is Positive Marginal utility and it doesn’t doesn’t diminish, there are other examples too.

Obviously sis , it explains consumer behavior by assuming that consumers have a set of preferences which guide them in choosing among goods for consumption . In actuality, it refers to the situation when more of a good offers higher level of satisfaction to the consumer. IC assumes that consumer behavior is governed by monotonic preferences.
