with past experience, i directly went ahead with videos explaining/teaching class 11th NCERT Chapter 10, In 1 hour i understood both week 2 & 3 content of maths and now just for sake of it i am seeing this videos and understand how much garbage this is and how i saved time.

if you are asking abt general equation Ax+By+C=0 one then divide this equation by by B on both sides for from which we will get A/B(x)+Y+C/B=0 then later compare it with y=mx+c one equation

Dear Prof. Upadhye, please heed some of the feedback in the below list as well as those given for all your lectures. Its really very difficult to follow most of what you are saying. Some pointers are: 1. Please use the PEN tool instead of the POINTER - its very very difficult to follow 2. Please write the intermediate steps - that way we are logically taken to the next step 3. Kindly look up at the camera once in a while - instead of reading from your notes

We can use this method to solve 17:00 (u might have learned in ur school) wkt x intercept point is (x,0) just substitute in tat eqn n get ur ans solved likewise for y intercept (0,y) and get ur ans....

To All, I think the problem lies with you all. As you all are not putting enough efforts to understand him just because of your preconceived notions. He is teaching in the most simplest form possible. Reading script? What other faculty is doing then? Everybody teaches from a script/notes/etc. What's in that? and you all should know OR LEARN how to give respect to someone..... you are so free in commenting about people...then comment right....AND ACT LIKE AN EDUCATED CITIZEN. try not to degrade someone...by commenting on face their profession . If you don't like him in his way of teaching...or anything you want to get improved say it in form of feedback or suggestion......just say it normally, why bringing out your stupidity via your comments. that's all thankyou.

I also find it really hard to understand his lectures, but I completely agree with your point. One can politely share their feedback, that also in a proper language. Just because you are not seeing him face to face doesn’t mean you can say whatever you need. Have some respect for others. No one is perfect.

that's what i also thought , the problem is more with people rather than the teacher. i mean that's how pretty much every teacher teaches and yes even if they don't like the content they should still respect the teacher.

For those who didn't understand the conversion into General Form - Convert the General form into the respective form and not the other way around. E.g. Ax+By+C=0 is the general form of equation. I will convert this into the first slope-point form. y-y0=m(x-x0) >>> By=-Ax-C..(first step-> rearranged the x and y terms) .... (second step -> divide both sides by B to get y co-efficient as 1 which is what the coefficient is in the slope-point form) Therefore, y=-(A/B)x-(C/B).. (thirst step-> now do the comparison.. coefficients of x in both equations with each other and similarly for y and constant c). You will get coefficient of x which is m in the slope point form is equals to -(A/B) which is the coefficient of x in newly converted general form from step 2. Likewise, constant term c is equals to y0-mx0 (tip: you won't get the c value directly, so you will have to rearrange the slope-point form equation a little bit and hopefully, you should get it. if you still don't get, let me know I will make a video for it and post it on YT. Then I will post another videos.. then I will create playlists .. then I will become a online tutor.. then I will get the silver, golden, diamond button.. paisa paisa hi hoga.. hahahaha

I have two humble suggestions to IIT Madras: Please provide the faculty with a pen rather than ready-made PPTs. He should solve the problems step by step, writing everything on board instead of just reading them out. Secondly kindly bring some enthusiam in your voice, Prof Updahye sounds extremely tired and disinterested.

Yeah, I have to go to another video to understand what how it works but it's pretty easy, Example For, y = mx+c, Ax+By+C = 0, so y = -A/Bx - C/B, if you match so (m will be -A/B and c will be -C/B). I have observed that if you watch sir's video while looking to his face expressions, it sucks. Just listen to his voice and don't look to his face just look to PPT, then only you will understand how he is passionate to teach.

not all people are from maths background in this degree course at least tell us how you are deriving new formulas dont just say it and assume non maths background people are wizards and can understand how he made up new formulas from thin air. at least tell us how he derived.
