for those whole are not able to understand b/w seq no. and window size for eg : if the value of k = 3 then how the seq. no is 0 - 7 reason : how many binary numbers are 3 digit ? there are 7 binary numbers which are of 3 digit from 1 - 7 , you can also take zero the sequence number will be 0 to 7 now using formula the window size can be calculated for eg here the window size will be 2^3-1 ie. 4 so it means 4 frames can be transffered without waiting for ack . so the frame from 0 to 3 will be transffered also you have to repeat the frame frome 0 - 7 again and again for this hope it helps
