Thanks Sir. Can we say couple acting on primary beam where the point of resting of secondary beam on primary beam. OR Are those same Couple and Torsion?

Yes if secondary beam is connected to primary beam integrally, the secondary beams puts a torsion on primary beam at the point of contact.

Sir , Does beam can be designed Doubly Reinforcement at near support (for Hogging Moment) in case of fixed end condition? OR Should we design doubly section only for span moment where sagging moment occurs ?

The reinforcement in a continuous beam is carried at both top and bottom, but it is given according to the reinforcement designed at the respective sections i.e support or span.

Thank Sir. Can we use that under reinforced or over reinforced phenomena for beam occurs - ve moment (Hogging) i.e. fixed beam at end support or cantilever which have reversible forces means Tension at top and compression at bottom? Generally we used this theory for beam section having +ve momemt i.e Comp. at top & Tension at bottom.

Good day, sir. How do I calculate or solve for Tu if given is a torsional moment of *kN.m dead load and *kN.m live load? Hoping for a response, sir. Thank you.

I know it's late but you need to factor out the live load and dead load using the load combination specified by the code example 1.2D.L +1.6 L.L

Tu comes from analysis of structure, it is generally due to secondary beams on primary beams.

Yes why not, will depend on what type of loading is put on beam.

In bt why we took 30 in bt=300-30*2-20*10-16

bt = 300 (width) - 30*2 (subtracting clear covers) - 2*10 (subtracting link from both ends) - 16 (subtracting half of bar dia from both ends)
