Going through courses by Prof. S.K Som and Prof. Suman Chakraborty is always an enriching experience. Perhaps they are the best minds in Mechanical Engineering that India has produced. I have completed Fluid mechanics by Prof. Chakraborty, Thermodynamics by Prof. Som and Prof. chakraborty and now this one. I have also done a part of CFD by Prof. Chakraborty. Microfluidics by him is in my TO DO list. I wish they could have taken other topics of Mechanical Engineering as well. It was saddening to hear the demise of Prof. Som. Huge regards to both of these great teachers.
