In this lecture, we will study:
1. Concept of class as propounded by Karl Marx.
2. We will study about Marx's concept of class-in-itself and class-for-itself.
3. Marx argues that the process of Proletarianization, pauperization, homogenisation and mechanisation will transform class in itself to class for itself.
4. Marx argues that False class consciousness will ne replaced by true class consciousness.
5. A collective proletariat revolution will overthrow the capitalist mode of production and establish the dictatorship of the proletariat which will ultimately lead to communism as state withers away.

One thing that I forgot to mention is Bendix and Lipset definition of class in Marxian sense which is nothing but the summary of whatever I taught related to class and class conflict. The features they give: 1. Conflict over Distribution of economic rewards between classes. 2. A common platform for the Proletariat class to communicate their agenda and activities. 3. Awakening of true consciousness and common class identity due to similar exploitative experiences, economic situation and common lifestyle. 4. Proletariat class developing as a political force/power to fight for their rights.

“THE BESTEST CHANNEL FOR SOCIOLOGY “ I have said this earlier but want to tell again that no one has made this subject so imaginative that you have made. Your way of teaching cannot be compared with anyone. I have studied sociology from a KZbin channel named CEC where even professors from Delhi university are teaching. I have huge respect for them but at the same time, you are exceptional sir. This channel should reach everyone. And this is going to happen soon. How can someone dive this deeper into any subject to make things clear. Huge respect 🫡 🙏

I don't think any book is required after making running notes from your classes, No book/coaching class/STUDY material gives this much OF depth knlowledge in simplified manner.

A typical coaching institute takes around 60 classes of 2-2.5 hrs each to cover P-1... So you could expect around 100 lectures or so (average 1 hr long) by the end of october!!!
