Packet ordering is a different concept. At 1:47 .TCP nor UDP has control over which path to take when transferring data. Meaning, if you are connecting to a facebook server in USA from here in india, whether you are going to use TCP/UDP at the transport layer(in reality it is TCP), you dont have control over whic network to to take when setting up a connection say for example in TCP...Its just routed over internet...Packer reordering always happens in the WAN. And when it comes to TCP, characteristics like seq# , Selective and Duplicate acks enables TCP to have a in-order delivery of the packets up to application stack...Not sure how deep it is needed for the GATE thought I wil just pass this information..

Write an algorithm each for TCP client and server with the following specification. • TCP Server can handle maximum 5 clients at a time. • TCP client will initiate the communication and send any alphanumeric character randomly to the server. • TCP server accepts the character and as a reply it sends the ASCII value of that character to the respective client.
