Summary Schedule: It is chronological execution sequence of multiple transaction. Type of Schedule: 1)Serial Schedule 2)Parallel Schedule Serial: if a transaction is started then other transaction will be start after end of ongoing transaction. ** Serial schedule is always consistent. ** waiting time of another transaction is high Parallel : Multiple transaction executed at a time like if there are three transaction t1 t2 and t3 then for some amount of time t1 will execute a set of operation and some amount of time a t2 will execute a set of operation and so on. **It may or may not be consistent ** waiting time of another transaction is low

Given a uni-processor system a schedule cannot be parrent but non-serial (concurrent). Also i could not find any reference to parrel schedule on other platforms. I know non-serial does not mean parallel. Please either explain or correct.
