Sir agar India ke case me dekhe to Cast(in rural areas)and Class(urban areas,big metropolitan cities)dono dominant hai..like in Village the importance is given to caste than class( I have personal experience)and in cities the people don't care about caste they focus on class that is if rich or poor.. Edit: the criticism of post modernists was somewhere right but post modernists were not completely wrong,their opinion about status as a dominant class is also true somewhere agar India ke case me dekhe to..
