I think he is doing his job perfectly. I think if you are not able to understand then try to focus more on practicals than just going through the theories. Try to study datasheets and try to build up some electronic stuff, this will let you know that he is actually telling you those things which you will selecting a component as per your requirement. I am finding his lectures very helpful

He actually said in previous lecture. He won't go in much depth because he makes the course for beginners who need another advanced course.

Rubbish! Just reading of from the slides which we can do by ourselves it seems he has no more of knowledge of the subject than we do.
