I love this song. The only thing that absolutely makes it much better is a person who is not afraid to actually sing the lyrics instead of just speaking them. This for me at least puts your version off the charts! Your version and beautiful singing voice had tears streaming down my face in no time. I'm not to proud to admit that I had to pull out the tissues. Bravo to you for a beautiful song well done. ♡

I inherited the album it's from back in Highschool and I thought it a cool semi-tongue-in-cheek almost out-take type song with some cool lyrics that still had a old-school back poarch blues feeling. Also have you heard his 12-string solo acoustic version of Hear My Train Comin' from the 1973 Documentary, another instant favorite of mine. I hope you enjoy them! Like to hear your version of either if you ever choose to cover them.
