What is the overall message and meaning of this song? What i took away from it is that black people worship Christ differently, in their own way, and just because other Christians (cultures) dont understand it doesn't mean their walk with Christ is any less valid.

I may be wrong here, so please don't take this as a right answer, but this is what I gathered from it. Before I get into it. I did 5 essays back in high school (this was 15 years ago), but it was basically based on statistics on gang violence, etc. Anyway. As we both know. There is a huge stereotype on the black community that people still believe nowadays, and that stereotype is that basically all blacks are gun toting, drug selling, gang banging people. This was also back in 2022 when Biden took office also. And he said, quote on quote, to all the black community in an interview, "if you don't vote for me, then you ain't black." So that's my interpretation.

And plus, this was also when George Floyd was killed too and all the blm protests was happening. So this was years of frustration of what's been happening from Treyvon Martin to George Floyd.
