I was praying for myself until I found someone who needed my prayers more. Now all my prayers are lifted to this girl. It's almost heart breaking to see this. What hurts the most... I'm dating her and temptation is real with her and when I turn down earthly pleasures it breaks her because she thinks it's because I don't find her attractive which is the furthest from true. I explained the dilemma between my relationship with her and mine with Christ but it don't always help and it's killing her self esteem. I try bringing her to church week after week but to no avail. So good, i was doing some school work at the library before heading to work abd this song came up in Pandora, and the beat and lyrics caught my attention from the beggining. So i stopped working and attentively started top listen to the lyrics, And i thought to my self this is definitely how one of my best buddies prays for me, as he is in a Christian college and i feel like i don't spend as much time reading my bible because been 'too busy' with school and work (i can definitely do better and working on it). But when the song reaches the end and he says that the person is actually him, it was an inception moment for me and i realized that i need to rely more on the Lord and that i should keep praying for guidance and to fix and work my own faults. @@ricoe8830 I almost died back then. I was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumor, the fact that I'm still able to write this is a testament to God's power. After I posted that I went to a church where I knew nobody. The first day without telling them anything they prayed over me and someone said the doctors will be amazed at what they find. I swear to you I never told anyone about this so I was so shook. A month later I can't see my vision is blurry and I'm throwing up and I went to the hospital. I thought this was it but it wasn't. The ran all type of tests and I prayed and prayed to be okay. I was. God saved me. The doctor came in and told me he doesn't know how it happened but it was a misdiagnosis. I was fine and the tumor was nothing but how my brain looked. Ever since that day 6 years ago nothing has grown in my head. God is good man, the fact that I'm alive today is all him. He saved me and I'm so blessed and thankful for him and his love.
