Thanks Lecrae. This song was discovered in my subscription list while I was mixing music for one of my clients in my studio. I am crying inside after listening to it because it perfectly captures what I am going through. I literally just finished praying forty minutes ago. I asked God to show me that everything will work out and to encourage me to continue putting my faith in Jesus and not to be afraid of losing hope. You dropped this record all of a sudden. It seems as though God put this song in my path and helped me realize that the greatest way to communicate with Him directly is through faith and prayer. Now, I know everything is going to be ok. My mom died recently, which reminds me that life's precious and tomorrow is not promised. Seek the Lord with all your heart, soul, might, strength. He will reveal the narrow path you must walk and give you the strength to walk it. God give the the Rhema understanding of His true word. Your worship of Him is your true worth. I'll admit KB music has gotten better since he left Reach yes. But he isn't " Doing more " for Christ. Or the Christian rap community. They are both soldiers for Jesus. Just in different ways lol. That's why it's called " The body of Christ. " it was smart for them to split to Reach more people. It's not about who's doing more for Jesus. Jesus already did the work they are just walking in it. Have you listened to his music after coming in hot? Lecrae isn't perfect but you cannot judge his actions by just one phase in his musical career the good thing is that when he slipped he's able to get back on his feet again. @@oganija882 So first I am not judging Lecrae. That is for God. However, Christians are called to keep each other in check and correct each other when we are not living like we should be. That is called correction not judgement. Next, he didn't just do one slip he continues to slip. By his own admission he was acting racist, went back to drinking, allowed money to guide his decisions, he put so much on not being a Christian rapper but was fine with receiving the rewards of it. He also said he wasn't for sale then singed his name once the price was high enough. If you don't have your word, you have nothing. What you are not realizing is Lecrae is not just responsible for Lecrae. He is responsible for all the people who follow him so when he messes up, he is potentially causing other people to mess up and go astray. Lecrae chose to be a leader and like it or not as a Christian leader he is held to a higher standard. James 3:1 shows us that teachers (leaders) will be judged more strictly. Leaders have a greater responsibility because their actions and teachings can significantly impact others' spiritual well-being. So doing things like hanging out at Diddy parties and trying to fit in with the world is not what he should be doing. I hope he is on a different path but until I see it his words don't mean anything.
