I just attended 2819 this past Sunday! I drove in for the service from Tampa, Florida. And I have NEVER EVER experienced the Lord in that way. I WEPT LIKE A BABY!! Before I even got to my seat! While I wept, I spoke in tongues for the first time! No voice coming out, no sound. But my mouth was moving and pushing out a foreign language, words that were not my own. I felt the Lord hug my heart!! Pastor Phillip’s sermon had me in the seats crying and convicted. It was beautiful. The Lord is truly working through that pastor! Praying for more Jesus lead pastors like him. Praying for the Lord to work in the hearts of those who hunger and thirst for His presence! Amen! ❤️

If you're in Tampa, theres a church there called Designers Way, lead by pastor Ron. He's a friend of Pastor Philips, and directed us to 2819 5 years ago when we moved from Tampa to Atlanta. He's not as aggressive, but Pastor Ron and Designers Way changed me and my now-wife's lives too. DO give em a chance! edit: aaaaahhh he shouted him out @01:12:48

I get nervous EVERYTIME and I've been preaching since 2012...it's 2024 and it's STILL the same nervous feeling. A pastor once told me "If you NEVER get scared/nervous...be very afraid because then you're doing it in your own power/strength-doing it for self if you will" "BUT if you're nervous THAT'S HOW YOU KNOW IT'S NOT YOU AND YOU'RE TOTALLY DEPENDING ON GOD to deliver this message to HIS people" That stuck with me and I don't think it'll EVER leave. Because we didn't call ourselves...because if we being real. We rather be doing something else, don't even think we qualified for this call/mantle BUT God will choose you anyway to deliver this gospel BECAUSE HE KNOWS YOU WILL CARRY THE MANTLE/ASSIGNMENT PLACED UPON YOU. (Idk why God made me go that deep with this response, but I'm sure it will help somebody) Be blessed🙏🏾❤️

They don’t teach against sin because this is a further devolution of Protestantism regarding theology. Even though all Christians understand that works in itself isn’t enough for salvation. But faith without works being “dead faith” is biblical. Daily repentance is biblical. A life of interior prayer is biblical, as well. But in many churches today (in America), it’s common to hear “Jesus did so you don’t have to.” Wow, what a disgrace to His sacrifice. This is at the center of why those churches you speak of don’t talk about sin. They think all because they believe in Jesus abstractly, that they don’t have to reflect Christ outwardly in their daily lives. They’re sadly mistaken

@@raylubbie3011 Psalm 27 1 The Lord is my light and my salvation- whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life- of whom shall I be afraid? 2 When the wicked advance against me to devour[a] me, it is my enemies and my foes who will stumble and fall. 3 Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then I will be confident. 4 One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple. 5 For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent and set me high upon a rock. 6 Then my head will be exalted above the enemies who surround me; at his sacred tent I will sacrifice with shouts of joy; I will sing and make music to the Lord. 7 Hear my voice when I call, Lord; be merciful to me and answer me. 8 My heart says of you, “Seek his face!” Your face, Lord, I will seek. 9 Do not hide your face from me, do not turn your servant away in anger; you have been my helper. Do not reject me or forsake me, God my Savior. 10 Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me. 11 Teach me your way, Lord; lead me in a straight path because of my oppressors. 12 Do not turn me over to the desire of my foes, for false witnesses rise up against me, spouting malicious accusations. 13 I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. 14 Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.

We need that aggression, that fire, and that fervent preaching in the church, which is the reason I only watch online. I left my church pre-pandemic for the exact reason he shared. All of the sermons were about the 10 ways to this, 3 ways to increase this, 7 steps to financial freedom. We need that endtime preaching and to be delivered from our materialism in the church. I pray this video answered all the skeptics' questions because Pastor Mitchell is the real deal.

I need to experience this Word in person and that atmosphere. Looking forward to experiencing the Lord at another level and hopefully shaking this man of God's hand.

I’m a 48 year old Pastor from Kingston Jamaica, who now Pastors in Memphis TN. And I can’t tell you how much this Man of God’s story touches me. He is needed in the Body of Christ. A true breath of fresh air, and an example of what a surrendered life looks like. God’s heart is so broken over the state of the Church. If you don’t hear Gods heart when this man speaks then you’re not listening. I got saved at 15 years old, and Isaiah chapter 6 was the first passage of scripture my father told me about after I came to God. It rocked me to my core. And is still my favorite passage of scripture till this day. May the Lord cover and keep this man of God in His care. In Jesus name.

You've made many great points in the pods cast But what stuck out to me is how you never say you're preaching. You're delivering the proclamation. You're very intentional with the words you use. And how preaching in an artistry and you don't have it. One of the first clips I heard was (loose quote) "we have service, no scripture! *drops Bible* Podcasts, no scripture! *drops bible* conferences, no scripture! *Drops Bible*" . That's a cadence. That was captivating, honestly. That's a gift. That was an art. The fact God can use you each and every week. (Daily I'm sure, but weekly messages). It's never old for you. You're refreshed and renewed each and every week. That's the most humble thing I've seen in a pastor. What came to mind for me was your style is abrasive. That sounds bad, but when we rub something abrasive, it yields beautiful results. When we run sand paper against something, it smooths it out and exposes the God given grain. When you grate cheese, it melts better and tastes better when cooked or baked (hello Mac n cheese). You exfoliate our spirit. Getting rid of the dead skin. Dead flesh even. You preach in a manner that holds ourselves accountable. Makes us reflect and correct. No need to be a polished pastor (they can come off rehearsed) You're polishing disciples in a way with your messages. But who am I to leave such a critique. I'm just one of your Digital Disciples praying for you to continue to allow God to use you. You are very important and impactful to the Kingdom.

I’ve been following Pastor Mitchell going on 2 years as a digital disciple from CA. I asked the pastor at my local church to bring him to the church, but that hasn’t happened. Revival is necessary everywhere in America but I’m crying out from California. Pastor Mitchell is telling the truth when he says he is preaching the same from years ago. Same intensity, same reverence for the word. My 17 year old is the one that sent me his sermon for the first time and it is true as you say that he is speaking to the future pastors. My son shares to as many people as possible the message as Pastor Mitchell teaches it. We are thankful for his teaching. This is a man of God and I hope his message spreads everywhere and more pastors learn from him and start leading in this way.

Thanks for sharing! I pray He NEVER changes and doesn't allow anyone to silence him! He was chosen for such a time like this. The conviction, transparency, and boldness He preaches with you can feel it. God continue to bless and keep him and his family. 💓🙏🏽

The part about being unpolished and insecure is so refreshing, it deeply resonates with me! I’ve learned that His power is truly made perfect in my weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Facing insecurity, fear, and anxiety about sharing God’s Word has taught me to surrender completely and rely on Him. When we give our weaknesses to God, we invite Him to take over, and that’s when our faith, trust, and relationship with Him deepen. In those moments, it’s no longer about us, it’s about Him working through us. The most Spirit-filled messages often come from those who humbly surrender, letting God speak through their imperfections. That’s where true power lies.

Man I love this man, his heart is for Christ and His Bride. Pastor Phillip is not interested in the frills and pomp that surround modern Christianity. We are all blessed to hear such man speak in this generation of debauchery and thrill seeking believers. Thanks a million for the opportunity to know the man behind the clips and shorts.

Thank you Lord for allowing me to find Pastor Phillip in my season of complete darkness and depression. I had disk replacement surgery on Oct 17th, the day before that I was let go from a really good job. Pain and depression I slipped even deeper and deeper, and Satan comes with the suicidal thoughts. I'm thinking I'll never get out of this. How am I going to find a job and recover with all this neck pain. I found Pastor Phillip in my KZbin shorts and was immediately hooked. I came out of that depression and sorrow by his uplifting anointed teachings. I now always look back at his sermon about worry. That sermon changed my life. Be anxious for nothing - Philippians 4:6-7. Thank you Lord Jesus for anointing Pastor Phillip to teach us your word.

Powerful powerful powerful. The first time I heard Pastor Phil preach I was like “I’m not getting much out of this,” and it exposed my heart. It was his preaching with the focus on Christ that drew me to repentance and a deeper love and reverence for the Lord. I can’t get enough of Jesus. Speaking from a “church goer” my whole life. I’m in my word, my ears aren’t tickled from self centered preaching. I’m convicted in a loving way from the Lord and feel closer to Him than I ever have. So much so… I rededicated my life to the Lord and am so excited to get baptized on Sunday as an outward expression of what the Lord has done in my heart. Pastor Phil, thank you for your yes to the Lord. I hold you in prayer and honor you. If I were back in ATL, 2819 would be my local church. But how blessed we are in this time and age to have access to sound doctrine online. Though there are wolves out there as we see many, God has called leaders to rise up and given his sheep discernment to know the difference, as long as we stay close to Him and His word. God bless you Lecrae and Pastor Phil for this powerful conversation. It’s so encouraging to see and know there are other believers out here on fire for the Lord and that community within the church is still very much alive. I used to be solo by choice because of all the rejection in my life, but God has called me to Him and a community He is building in my life. Great pod. All glory to God. Jesus Christ!🩶⚔️🙏🏽
