Thanks! Yah I was surprised actually. At one point I was like, c’mon, you’ve gotta stop at some point lol. I expected somewhere between 22-25 tops. Didn’t think it’d go the full 30. If I did I would have put on more sunscreen lolol. Yah 2 hours of video can be challenging. I finally wised up and moved my iMovie library to a SanDisk Extreme SSD. With my old process I had files all over the place between local and external hard drives.

I wondered if people used these for that ride. That’s definitely one way I could do that. My aunt & cousin did it one year & said it was the hardest but funnest thing they’d ever done. They did it old school style tho.

@@k_j6923 I have done the first day twice on a traditional bike. I'm 63 now and have a questionable knee so I rode the ebike instead. It's definitely a fun event and you really get the same experience on an ebike, just makes the hills more bearable. I didn't get any flack about the ebike and a few people were curious. Much better than not participating. I like my ebike but if I did it again I would buy a more conventional ebike with full size wheels. I haven't use the folding function yet.

Great video. I've seen similar and slightly more mileage on mine (throttle only) but I started off a little slower, cruising at 15-16mph from the outset. When I purchased mine, Lectric was throwing in the suspension seat post and a 2nd long range battery. I couldn't "not" purchase... haha. A buddy of mine purchased his XP Lite at the same time. It does well for what it is but has the small battery. I like the range and the gearing of the XP 3.0... along with the hydraulic brakes. Those are just too nice to pass up.

Thank you so much for watching 😊. Congrats on the new bike! It’s definitely a fun one to cruise around on. I like that it folds up as it makes transporting it way more convenient than using a rack. I purchased this mirror last year and have been using it ever since amzn.to/3sR8Wie (affiliate link). I only use it on the left side. Simply pop the handlebar cap off, insert, and tighten the screw. Super simple. When you get your bike, if you hear any rattling in the frame when going over bumps, it’s likely the battery moving around the frame. Lectric uses foam adhesive discs but I’ve found those things peel off too easy. I recommend using some felt strips or the soft side of Velcro. I made a video on it here kzbin.info/www/bejne/lZzHqo2caLasoNE. Also, don’t forget you can go into the setting and customize the ride experience to your liking :). Let me know how you like the XP 3.0. Have fun riding 🚴♂️😃

@tomsgadgetgarage7 ай бұрын
Thank you! I use a GoPro Hero 10 to film my rides. It’s held up really well. My only complaint is battery life. Because of this, I have a power bank plugged into the camera for all rides as some of them go on for hours. Sometimes I use my Insta360 X3 for 3rd person view shots, but that’s really just for small clips. As for a chest mount, I use this one because it has a quick release. amzn.to/4dTrlhx (Amazon Afilliate link). The quick release comes in handy if I want to stop the ride and get some shots of something else.

My fat tyred e bike here in the uk is a 250 watt 48 volt 24amp hrs. The government is looking to up the wattage to maximum 500 watt and a top speed of 20mp.They are looking to do that because everyone who owns an e bike complains that 250 watt is not big enough and a max speed of 15.5 mph is far too slow. I don't know whether it will come into force or not, but I am happy with just the 15.5mph being an older lady. I don't want to go fast.
