Question. What happens when you go to install this but the metering rod flat spot won’t go into the carb if it’s facing the motor? It will only go in if the metering rod flat spot faces the rear.

So my bike was having a hard time idling. I adjusted it 1/4 turn to add more fuel. But it seems like the very beginning of the throttle cuts out for a second. I almost have to throttle past that initial 1/16th of the throttle… any ideas?

You went the wrong way. Go leaner to raise idle
